Ennis, Co Clare are the proud hosts of the 2016 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann which will run from the 14th to 21st August. The Fleadh is now one of the largest events staged in Ireland each year. Last year over 400,000 people visited the Fleadh in Sligo. With the tradition and love of Irish music that exists in County Clare, there is an expectation that equal numbers will attend again this year.
The town of Ennis, under the guidance of the Fleadh Executive Committee, Clare County Council, An Garda Siochana and the HSE, is in an advanced state of preparation for the welcome visitors. Hundreds of volunteers, Clare Civil Defence Medical Teams, Delta Security and Safety Solutions Ltd are all finalising their plans to ensure that this years Fleadh is a safe and enjoyable event.
Safety Solutions are coordinating all aspects of the event, from the event licence to health and safety to individual event and site plans. They will also be fulfilling the critical role of Event Control. Cuttle Consulting are honoured to be selected again to work with Safety Solutions as Event Controllers for the Fleadh.
