On Sunday, the 25th June 2017 Shannonside Northern Sound hosted the Midsummer’s Day with the Stars Country Music Festival in Roscommon Racecourse. This was the 5th year to stage the festival which is growing from strength to strength each year. The festival was highlighted by stars such as Big Tom, Nathan Carter and many more.
Cuttle Consulting were engaged, for the 4th time, as event controllers. We completed a risk assessment for the event and built an event plan and medical plan from there. The safety and security of all involved is always a priority. We worked with the Statutory Services, Civil Defence, who provided excellent medical cover, Security, Stewards, food vendors and temporary structure providers. On the day, everything was coordinated through the event controller and safety officer with the objective of having a safe, enjoyable and well-planned experience for all the patrons who attended the event.
