Lone Workers – Risks, Safety & Health

Last week Cuttle Consulting delivered Lone Worker training to a client who have staff operating over a wide area of the country. The nature of their work brings them into the category of Lone workers.

Lone Workers (Those who work by themselves without close or direct supervision) are often at risk from hazards such as accidents or emergencies, sudden illness, inadequate rest, hygiene & welfare facilities and physical violence from the public, clients or intruders. The clients have a policy for their lone workers, but a policy alone does not satisfy the employers duty of care. Cuttle Consulting were engaged to design and deliver bespoke training for the staff, relevant to the type of work that they do and the hazards that they face.
